Ship Jumper Super Robot 2

Did a little poking at my Ship Jumper IP this weekend, sketched a detailed mech over a previs model, now that I have the design worked out, will use that as a template for the final detailed model which I hope to build at some point.

Megastructure Diagrams

Putting together a diagram for the Undersea Habitat for the Megastructure project. Rather than a single large dome, smaller personalized domes are created, so if one fails, they're far easier to repair or detach without losing the integrity of the whole colony

3D Blockouts

When I have an idea for a vehicle, some get a pen sketch, and some get a 3d sketch. The 3d sketch goal is to do the absolute minimum amount of detail to get the idea across. Sometimes I go back and do a more detailed model / 2d paintover, and some just sit there for eternity

Megastructure Spaceships

Some generic-ish background ships from the Megastructures project. While quite detailed, the ship's greebles are over exaggerated and not meant to be seen close up. But seen 20-40 pixels high in the background of an image, the ships should look just about right.

SoulburnScripts Updated April 9th 2020

Welcome to the 2nd to last edition of the Soulburnscripts update. As I posted last month, since Autodesk has gone rental only, I will no longer be updating these scripts come May 2021. So here's the latest pack that works with 2021, and I'll speak to you next year at this time for the final script pack compatible with max 2022.

The scripts have been now fully tested in Max 2021!

Updated 2 older Maxscripts:

vrayMatteManager: Added ability to make objects a matte object with no shadow catching ability.
modelPreparer: Newer versions of vray no longer compatible with Standard Materials, so now it uses vray materials if vray is selected as your renderer.
